LBH X1 (pre-release beta test version uploaded)

Post by spacef »

Hi,

LBH-X1 is LBH VIII for Xite.
The beta is available in the SpaceF User Area
--> http://www.spacef-devices.com/
It requires a Key 8 for LBH VIII

- Backward compatible with Scope and highly optimized (you can load 2 in scope)
- It takes 5.5 Scope DSP. On xite, it is normal that it span itself over two dsps or more.
- Current beta doesn' include some surface optimizations (to make surface faster) but is already at a pre-RC stage.

Changes:
=======
- There have been some optimizations, but also some parts had to be removed to save ressources or to be rebuilt later:
-- The mixing part of the device has been cut and should be available shortly in a new shape.
-- Some modulators in the osc phase and filter modulations have been changed because X1 offers 2 more T.EG (Triggered envelopes). T.EG3 is modulated like T.EG 1 and 2, and T.EG4 is not modulated. Some much less interesting/useable modulators have been replaced with the new TEG.
-- The Device outputs 8 mono streams (drums, or synths, or gated audio) taken just after the post-filter gain stage. It is more or less equivalent to the "Kit" preset list.

More details on final release

- Nb: It is normal that the device loads on 2 dsps or more. Let the device load on whatever DSP it needs to load.

Thanks to mail me in case of bug or if it doesn't load or anything else.

Have fun
Mehdi

This is good news, though I'm sorry to be losing parts of the LBH system, well it's hopefully only for a while at least

It was the only way to add 1 eq per channel, mono and stereo inserts, 2 or 3 aux... :-)
(that will be on a seperate mixer).
