Ardour is getting some good buzz.
However, friends that are developers tell me the developer plays a little 'too close to the chest'.

I'm wondering how well any Windows shells are working in Linux... anyways, separate topic.

I've read of good overall results with Wine.
Don't know how good hardware interface drivers are though.

there are other ways (like an em pee cee...) it only needs rock solid midi which i'm sure it has already. Did anyone say veethat??
