SC only bills you when they're shipping.

I paid and then waited, was done through paypal so no worries on anything. Did go through a frustrating wait. So worth the wait. Amazing piece of kit. Seems like there isn't this type of long wait happening now.

I paid via bank transfer directly to SC. Unit arrived at my door 12 days later. It would have been 2 days earlier if not for the weekend.

Shipment delay is def. out of the game then.

That leaves us with financial or production batch constraints (replenishment, workers, quality checks, base components need), or an increasing demand, or?

Well! keep posting here when you get one :D

Right On Brotha' Man......... :D
BTW you guys looked great in the World Cup and I was disappointed when Espanola capitalized on that well placed pass....
It never ceases to amaze me how such a small country can kick such major ass in the World cup over and over.......hats off.

No problem, what for ?

SDK 4 is now back up and running.
Xite is ready (I just miss a few cables).
Still have to re-setup my former SDK PC to host the Mod IV.

Meanwhile I may make music or work on a few other topics.

Yeah!!! :) Got an 1D here now. I used to work on an old Mac G3 with Scope cards and a Pulsar, but due to circumstances, this system had been boxed and stored away. My Macbook, RME, Ableton Live and Alchemy kept me more than happy. A while ago I wanted to include scope again in my setup. I immediately knew again why I loved Scope, but the very old, noisy Mac and it's little annoyances made me decide to take the plunge, and get my first desktop PC and an Xite when there was the summerdeal.
Atom had it setup for me a few weeks ago, and like what I see so far. I haven't been at it enough, but just running a master track from my Mac/RME system to scope and using Psy-Q made me smile. Now I have Live up and running on the PC, sending busses and aux's to Scope feels/sounds great. Changing various native plugs to Wavelength's SparC, SpaceF's Echo, Minimax or Profit is yummy. I really need to ask for a licence transfer so I can enjoy Prodyssey, Fat inserts, Flexor and Transient Designer again.
It feels great, is inspiring, flexible, sounds fantastic... I'm more than happy! :)

edit: not too fond of Windows XP  I might try W7 when Live catches up...

Congrats, and at0m is the right guy to get you set up.
You'll love the new converters and FWIW get the FATs as soon as possible, then use them on the mic pres and tell me what you think...... :D

I run Analog hardware synths into them, and will be running Solaris digitally via AES/EBU Hosa ODL-312 by weeks end.
Solaris has what's called OTA units that are like soft distortion emulations from the Minimoog. So FAT's are basically inside the synth.
But there's nothing around that sounds as hot and sweet as the mic pres with FAT's on them.
Another great plug in suite that adds some georgeous tones are from Adern.
Fat Cat Compressor actually sounds like it can be Overdriven, and the SAT plug is similar to FAT's but not as greasy as Medhi's FAT Bastards.

The XITE-1 and Solaris still need development, but I am avoiding anything that needs attention and just using what I know works, and my live rig sounds so good every FOH is always asking WTF are you using, as I can red light the board over the frontline mics when I have 2 x Barbettas and the 41 Sub set up....

Have fun as it's a great piece of gear. I can't even see using anything else.
Even the new u-He DIVA synth that everyone is raving about sounds great, but go low with resonance maxxed and sustain/release at 50% and the typical Native thin stuff sounds as if its comeing from the back of my speakers.

Great synth as long as you stay in the mid range, but after all of these years, Creamware/Soniccore still has the closest emulation of true analog I have heard.
