Ordered my Xite from The Production Room
Ordered my XITE from the Production Room on Monday. Been sorting out other things in the meantime so haven't had a chance to post here. Ordered a nice new 3XS SA-i7 PowerDAW from Scan Computers aswell. My old PC didn't have any PCIE slots, so I had to buy one!! Looks like I am going to have to start looking for work in the next month or two as that has taken a vast chunk of my redundancy pay. I will post the 3XS SA-i7 PowerDAW spec on the Tech Talk forum. The Production Room guys were very friendly and helpful. I should get a call bvack from them tomorrow to let me know the latest on delivery times. Apparently, when I ordered it, this was the second Xite they had sold. It's going to be a couple of weeks before I get the new PC and about the same time for the Xite.
I got some really bad news this week, I am not really sure if this is the right sort of place to mention it, but it seems to have an effect on everything I do....my mum was diagnosed with secondary lung cancer on Monday. I was given the news a few hours after I ordered the Xite. She is a very fit 58 year old and it all seems a bit surreal. I live at home with my parents and was looking forward to a nice few months off after I took voluntary redundancy in April. I just need to keep positive for my own sake and that of my family. The Xite and new PC will help keep me occupied and positive. You just don't expect something like this to happen to you and it has made me realise that you have to grab life by the balls before it grabs you. I think that's quite profound!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Re: Ordered my Xite from The Production Room
That is the best processor ever made for tha desktop.
It all also smokes many of the currently used server CPU's.
Congrats..........I am so happy to see others jumping in head first.
No cannonballs or canopeners...................Acupulco Baby.......ALL THE WAY..
Sorry, I always forget this is an international forum....Canopeners and Cannonballs are for those who fear the water first time in...
You are definately diving head first.

Re: Ordered my Xite from The Production Room
Got my new PC yesterday. Spoke to Production Room and it seems that the first batch of Xites into the UK won't be for another week or so.
Re: Ordered my Xite from The Production Room
