But I'm affraid this dog will be shot in that case, because S|C obviously take their time for a while now, to optimize the software. Poor doggy

No...not that they suit men better.
Scopedog cares not about gender nor the passing of the seasons. All are toast.

Stardust......I know you are enjoying Solaris 5.0 in an extreme way.

I recently realized that Solaris 5.0 can actually be more powerful than it's hardware counterpart w/ an XITE-1. :o
I have been making some 6 Oscillator / 3 Filter / 3 x EG presets that only allow 2 voices on my 15 DSP synth DAW.
Since the XITE-1 and Solaris will be using the same ADSP-21369 DSP chips I can only imagine the insane sounds Solaris 5.0 will be able to create.
QWave will be outrageous also.
And then there's Prowave w/ the 7 voice unison stacks.............Yummy. :D
And let us not forget about MultiSynth & LBH VIII.

Even w/ a live group and VDAT using 16 playback tracks my 3 x card DAW has so much DSP leftover I use the B2003, 6-String & Modular so my 1 x card Synth DAW is strictly a Prowave / ASIO DAWg.
It appears as though I will have the equivalant of what I currently use w/ 6 more Pro cards added.
I dream of synths and DSP's instead of fine trim these days.
Many want this beast for massive plug counts and mixing power, but my needs will certainly be synths and high poly.

I remember when I first got Scope I had to have plugs everywhere.
But from mixing a band live and having to use workarounds to make sure Prowave can have 7 voices on every preset. I have learned I do not need reverbs on every AUX, and tons of plugs eating up DSP's. I have learned from live mixing that too much spice causes indigestion.

In 20 more days I will have my hands on Solaris and XITE-1 and I can hardly sleep.
I walk around in La-La Land and even turn down drunken fine Ho's so I can race home and play my synths. I really am in need of therapy. My X even says she can't believe my dedication to my synths. I realised I play for 6 hours at night, then come home and play till I take my boy to school. Then I sleep for 5 hours and go pick up my son, and after we do any homework he wants to hear me play. This is insane but can't be helped.

Please if anyone hears me talking about how I need more polyphony after buying these beasts give me a hard slap across the face, as I fear I have lost touch w/ reality.
