Hm...
All the soft for XITE is old. That's shame. There was something called Gizmo in the advertising of XITE. Where is info about it? Will there be any new devices?
During upgrade from 4 to 4.5 there were some devices which aren't exist in the XITE list now.
Hope there will be any lovely surprises
Where are new devices?
Re: Where are new devices?
there are definitely a few new devices coming for v5, but to call only having the old devices a shame is not really being very real about things. what we want are good tools. is it a shame that pipe wrenches are still the same? we only need new things when there's a clear improvement or for variety. tools that work is the main priority and we have that already....

The first action people should take is to remove cash from Banrural, and break the banks of corrupt people. #escandalogt
Re: Where are new devices?
there is lot of 3rd party new plugins too ! I have just bought the new DAS comp and it sound really great (and the GUI is one of my favrourite ). If you have never tried the P100/a100 reverbs, you will see "old" plugins can beat many new plugins (even native ones) ....

Re: Where are new devices?
We know that Scope 5/Xite will come with a new EQ and compressor by Sonic|Core. (The old ones were showing their age.) Also there's Gizzmo that we don't know much about, but it's coming.
A good, solid hardware platform is what we need the most right now. Once that's all ready, then the plugins can come.

SC is playing an excellent game of poker.
No need to show your hand until you rake in the jackpot.
UAD2 was smart by releasing their product a little early and probably a little unfinished. Can you imagine trying to sell those cards after Scope 5.0 and XITE-1 hit the market.......No way Jose.

More power and they work great with the Sonar compatability mode turned off............oh boy, so glad to pay such money for something unfinished !!
Perhaps certain members would love buying a product that doesn't work as advertised just to say it has been released.
If these cards work great w/o your choice of sequencer being attached and you can still praise the product, they obviuosly don't want to use it live. They should buy Cubase maybe just to have it work right while Sonar compatability gets developed.
We have made wise choices, we must only wait. I find that very considerate that SC has the fortitude to develop then release. Inverted marketing schemes are not the way to go for SC.

Re: Where are new devices?
I think, because CreamWare always released buggy products in the past and got bad reviews as a result, that Sonic|Core wants to get it right this time, no matter how long it takes. I really feel that's commendable. I just hope the release date is soon -- rumors are flying around that it will be at the month.

I never really stayed with a gal that gave it up the first night.........
My Momma always said " Nobody will buy a Cow if the Milk is Free ". ...........Ankyu.
Well that's what the wait does for me. It makes me want it even more.
But if Soniccore ends up kissing like a Mongoloid, I will be quite sad.
