juli?august 2008 or 2010?
nobody knows.
its been saying "Soon" for the last six months on their webpage.. and i got an email in may saying that they would release it in a couple of weeks! :-? :-?
seriosly..... they shouldnt promise anything. It's alot better saying that their are working on it, maybe post stuff in a blog with the latest progress etc etc. instead of that email..
well sorry for my rant.
.. it's done when it's done!:)

The one thing Soniccore cannot do here is release something that isn't right.

I'd much rather wait for a product that has been properly tested prior to release - I know it's tempting to 'get something out there' as quick as possible but if I spend 3k on something that's buggy I'll be very pissed off!

The success of this product may determine Soniccore's future and for a product that is geared at the professional market it's got to be right.

I do however agree that they could better handle PR and provide more constructive updates.

My ten pence!

i agree with you100%! its not because it takes a long time to make good stuff that bothers me. it's the PR! :)

I'm still very curious if there are any bug fixes in Platform 5.
Wouldn't it be nice if SC provides a sort of "release notes" section on the website to mention updates or fixes since version 4.5 , if there are any fixes at all? (or actually 3.1c, since that was the last real update ;) )

Ahh Fawdeddabowdid.

I have chosen to program and make presets with an overlooked synth called Vectron and avoid the anticipation.

I just went through the same crap waiting for Gigastudio 4.

When you want to indulge in a fine wine you won't be happy by grabbling a cheap gallon jug of Gallo to have w/ your Turkey, but rather a fine Russian River Valley Gerwertztraminer. ( My only Turkey Day Choice  )

Serve No Wine Before It's Time................................. But there's nothing wrong with chugging a FAT BASTARD BOTTLE OF JAGER, just to fight off the demons of reality while waiting. Vectron has sent me to the cabinet a couple of times last night,............Ankyu....

Oh! Maybe we could add a bit here and there - improve this...
Shit!..The improvement caised a bug..
Fix it...Oh! Perhaps we caould add this!

Here's a good advice to all ya people patiently waiting out there:

Start having fun. Play music, make music, bathe in the sun. Get wasted on
your favourite chemical. Drop your guard just for a week or two.
And stop waiting.
It is summer after all.

Well, at least on this hemisphere. :P
