no, no one here can help.

that is not an S|C product and as you may know, S|C is swamped with too many emails to respond to. you will have to wait. i might try again in 2 weeks if you haven't had a response by then.

Hi I just went through the same for the 3rd time over the years. Kept forgetting how to fix it.
Here it what worked for me:
I found an old windows installation, right click the remote software icon and Run As Administrator.
Click the Prefs button.
Choose the correct Midi In and Out ports.
Click the Refresh button to see the Device, Version and Serial Number.
Insert the correct Actiation Key for your serial number
Browse for your Firmware Source File.
Click "Write" button and wait.

When it's done updating it will also activate the "Activation Key" and sounds should work again. Kind of silly when you have a Hardware box that you need an activation key but thats how it is with creamware.

Now you need to turn of and back on.

What I did wrong was running the Remote control software as User, not Admin. Then it kept talking about error to write to a log file at a wrong path for the user and stuff. When updating the firmware it kept giving 1-2 errors about not being able to write to some file. But when running it as Admin then it worked out for me and the ASB got activated.
