No modulation wheel on contoller, so no Osc 3 modulation?

Hi guys,
On my Minimax ASB I can't seem to hear any modulation (osc bank or filter section) when using OSC 3 as a modulator. I am assuming it is because I don't have a modulation wheel on my controller (Nord Electro 73). Am I right? And if so, what can I do? I do have a Mac and Motu Traveler, but no keyboard with a controller.
