Prodyssey in Windows 7?

Post by soundsubs »

So i downloaded/installed Windows 7 and so far so good.
However, i cant seem to get the prodyssey.exe to work.
i have tried it in various compatibility modes and it doesnt work.

Has anyone got it to work with Win7 (or Vista i guess).

Also, the latest ldr included in the download was 2.50. i think i was at 2.3x?

Isn't this about the ASB box software?

so i reverted back to WINXP and i realized that i only see the Prodyssey connected as "USB AUDIO DEVICE (2)". In Windows 7, it appeared as "Prodyssey"
(yes, ive done several uninstalls/reinstalls and the editor software works)
Is there a generic driver im missing somewhere? ...if there is, i would be grateful if someone would email it to me!

Win XP sees all the ASB boxes as "USB Audio Device" . No matter what. They will still work as MIDI ports in your favorite sequencer, though.
