b4000 firmware updates

Post by slammah2012 »

(1)Besides me not being able to assign "audio input" into the leslie circuitry, are there any firmware updates that correct this issue,
(2) and the staggered attack between footages that happens every keypress????
(3) do the leslie horn and rotor tone adjustments in the additional page of the software actually change anything???....or are they just extra knobs that go nowhere??? these are the only drawbacks I am finding at this point in time...

on a Hammond , the individual keys contain 9 switch contacts for each of the 9 drawbars causing the staggering of the harmonic structure as a key is depressed really slowly,(example ...if you only push the key half way down some harmonics will be missing) but at a regularly played speed , this staggering is the main source(coupled with the vibrato scanner) that creates the phenomenum known as "Key Click"
Due to the fact that midi does not address 9 stages in a note on event, (except for maybe velocity as a time variance applied to harmonic attack intervals) would it be too much to ask for the delay of the later sounding harmonics to be adjusted to zero time delay so it sounds more like a "Real Hammond" and not like a real " Latency problem"????
