I have no desire to see CWA's stuff sell at GC -- the GC crowd isn't CWA's crowd. However, I really wish CWA could sell their stuff at Sweetwater, which IS a good company. Their service and prices are great.

Yes i've dealt with Sweetwater from the UK - very good service. They could certainly teach UK music shops a thing or two. In fact if Sweetwater opened a UK branch and used US sales techniques they'd mop the floor.

My story:
i was buying a Kurzweil Expressionmate (UK price £400), Sweetwater price $179. The guy i rang took my phone number and rang me back from the States immediately (how often does that happen?). When i receved the Expressionmate (sadly Customs got to it, but it was still a whole heap cheaper than buying in the UK) i got a follow up email and phone call to make sure everything was OK and then a follow up letter from the MD (they like to call them company presidents in America - a little OTT if you ask me). Now that's service.

wow that IS service!!

I think turnkey (Turkey as they are more affectionately known) could learn a thing or two. Though I doubt they would want to as like this guitar centre they want quick easy sales. I actually bought my scope pro from Turkey and what a shambles they made of that! Outright lies and little knowledge of the product...I should have gone to digital village, they have never let me down.
