I really liked the article in KEYBOARDS magazine and it is indeed a "rave review", as the quotations on the CW homepage say. But please, dear CW folks, don't sit back. Consider that there is also criticism, albeit not that severe. I don't want to rub it in, but the "static attack" thing is certainly worth to be addressed with an update. The other point mentioned in the article is the "little something" that may be missing, after hours of playing the Minimax. What is this? Is the reviewer talking about subtle distortions in the signal chain?

In any case: Congratulations for your Minimax ASB. It is certainly a really cool product. I hope it sells well!

You'll have to have a subscription to magazin Keyboards, or you can download an article after paying.
you could order Keyboards 09-05, start here:
http://www1.keyboards.de/magazine/m0905/509050wp.html
but you need to understand German to find your way.
You need to understand German anyway...

Did you know the Minimax ASB has up to 12 voices, not 6...?!
Still not multi timbrale tho

I emailed CWA regarding Magazine reviews and I was told that the first review for the Minimax ASB will in the October 2005 issue of Keyboard/USA by Craig Anderton.

More review will follow as more ASB boxes become available in North America.

Craig Anderton will cause people to read the review. This synth has really never been looked at in USA as a polysynth. 3 OSCs, with good polyphony, plus aftertouch. If they decide to market the ASBs through a small PR firm, they should have no problems with ROI scheme. Poor JRRShop, I've changed my mind once again. Eric, I want MINIMAX ASB, not 2 OSC Prophet.
