Profit-5 Version needed from 26.10.2005

Here from an older topic, does anybody have this version and can send me by e-mail?:


only the copy of Profit-5 that was uploaded on 26.10.2005 is editable via the NOAH directly. The newer one (from november 2005) is not. When I press the EDIT botton on, nothing happens.

The older version is no longer on the FTP. On 23.05.06 it was replaced with the one from november.

Means, the only version currently available from the FTP is not editable from the NOAH. So beware!

This is at least here on my NOAH EX. Anyone else?

I must admit I never edit directly from the NOAH Ex itself ...

I use some BCR 2000 template or ... now my Pro12 ASB instead

The problem is that this version does not work with my key, I had the prophet running one time with the version that shows itself on the Noah. The voices in the editor show 0 voices.

I reflashed the unit with my old and a the new noah from the side. I tried the 1.0 to 1.1 updated (this gives only a little issue that everybody can solve, the devices directories change from some devices, if you delete the wrong double it is solved).

In the noah\app\bin there is a file called devices.ini. Can you check what is inside yours?

I think your trouble is probably more regarding the key you have.

Maybe you should just kindly request the keyfile to SonicCore for yout NOAH unit providing the serial number.
It could just solve the problem.
I know they did not support the NOAH anymore but Ralf (Dressel) just kindly provided me the keyfile for the "brand new" used NOAH second unit I just acquired a few weeks ago ...

I did contact Ralf in 2008 for this problem and what I now understand that he gave me the unlock code for the Six-String, I did buy the pro-12. I will try to contact Ralf again to solve this mistery. The six-string is not free?

I think you had contact with our famous Ralf Bach who no longer work for SC.
Just e-mail to SC support mail and I think you will get some new from Ralf Dressel.
The 6-string should be part of the keys depending on what was bundled with your unit at first and how it was expanded afterwards.
The simplest would be to request the keyfile ...

If you make the same check with a Scope 5.0.2617 About box you will notice that most of the name are also on the Scope 5 about box.

I did get all key files from Ralf (many thanks for his support!!!), unfortunately this was not the solution. I installed the noah 1.1 on my pc, deleted all the files and put back the files form old pc. Now after clicking on the directories and synchronizing the prophet 5 was working.

I'm looking for a solution for a long time...but nothing !
it's very important for me to edit the noah directly without the pc.
Please,someone would have it the 2005 version ?

Damn, I´ve never read this thread before unfortunately.

I too try to make Prophet 5 fully working on my Noah EX.
The NOAH Prophet 5 device file I installed is dated to 21.10.2004 (oct 21, 2004) 13:03h (01:03 p.m.), size 823.157.
It´s what was available from SC ftp server as "Prophet 5 additionals" and it´s located in the "IF" (internal flash) folder.
The other noah_prophit5-nokeys file available is even younger,- from feb 06, 2008, size 922.812.

I installed both and both versions aren´t editable from NOAH frontpanel directly once installed.

I have all the keys and all the other devices being installed work as expected.

So, I´d also need the copy of Profit-5 that was uploaded on 26.10.2005.

Now I hope forumite kybernaut_01 is still around and being able to post the file.
Will try to send a PM.

Any other help is appreciated nonetheless.
