Wiered Behavior of Noah EX Software

Post by tonton »

Hello,

i have the Noah EX. I used it for some time and it worked all good, well it does now to...

After i had to reinstall my PC, the Pro One and the Vectron Player can not be openned anymore.

Image

This picture shows the noah application after installation of the driver.
You can se that there ist something missing on top the Minimaxx...
I can open up the Minimax Application

Image

The second picture now shows nothing at all. This happens when i want to open the Pro one or
the Vectron Player. The applications are both installed on the Noah. and it also switches over to the pro one,
but it doesent show the pro one as you can see in the software and also doesnt open up the apllication
screen nore shows me the preset list. this also goes for serveral effekt plugins.

It all worked Fine before i had to reinstall Windows. As mentioned directly on the Noah EX
i can access everything and also MIDI Trigger Notes to the Pro One for example.

I allready tried Synchronistaion

Hey tonton,

It seems that you're having exact the same problem as I am and bobthedog. See this thread: http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... 33&t=25924

You're missing AuxFX as well.

I think the remedy is to install NOAH 1.0 first and the NOAH 1.1 on top of that. You probably had NOAH 1.0 installed before, and then upgraded to NOAH 1.1. After reinstalling Windows again you just installed NOAH 1.1, am I right? Try installing 1.0 first and 1.1 on top of that.

My problem is that I don't have NOAH 1.0. If you do, could be so kind and send it somewhere and tell me how to get it. Thanks!

Hope we can get this working!

Cool! Would it be too much hassle to ask you to upload that directory you had backed up somewhere (http://www.megaupload.com or some similar site) or send it to my email (texmex at iki.fi). I would really appreciate that! I'm missing AuxFX and bunch of device editors as well and I don't have access to the NOAH 1.0 (it's not available in creamware's or sonicscope's ftp site).

Thanks!

So, i have uploaded it as a *rar file.
it is the c:\noah directory
i just copied it over the current 1.1 installation...
well, it is not the proper way of doing it, but it worked in my case :P

http://www.fso-elektronenmusik.de/files ... backup.rar

please give feedback, to see if it worked :D

I have downloaded it and will try it tomorrow as soon as possible. I might make a version that has both 1.0 and 1.1 and put it somewhere so that others can download it as well.

I'll let you know soon!

Thanks :)

--------

Guess what: it worked flawlessy :D I'm so happy

Thanks for the upload. I'll try to make a patch based on differences on NOAH 1.0 and NOAH 1.1 which could be then applied on top of NOAH 1.1 installation. Coming sooner or later :)

Hello,
I just got an old noah and old files ( i know they work fine, it is just a problem with psu in hardware).....
I need to change the PSU though, but after that, i know someone who can host my files when i check that they all work.
may be in 1 week or 15 days , depends how quick it is to fix the psu and when i check all files.
please check this topic: http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=28941
