Regular Vstfx gui disappear?!

i have just spent 2 days for try to works smoothly wirh xtc/vstim
I have tried various xtcproject and find some errors when i add mixers
like the Dasxtcmixer(missed riff.dll? but is in the bin folder), or system error
if i have too much devices (like a synth) in xtc project.

One of the biggest problem i have encountered in a project is that some
vst fx like Voxengo elephant or BX control doesn't show the gui anymore,
in the same manner of scope devices when they aren't set up properly in cfg.ini
file, others don't suffers this problem like cubase stock vstfx.

This old project is started with the regular use of soniccore software
and in this 2 days is the "cavia" for my approach to Xtc/vstim.
I have add 2 vinco, 2 das reverb, 3 soniccore eq and 4/5 basic comp mixed
to regular vstfx plugin reverbs comp 2 vst instrument.

At some point a have a blue screen with scope.sys drive error

if i setup a new project from scratch i can open all mentioned plug works normally.

anyone had similar problems?

Hi,

For the riff file, add it to the root directory of your host (I did it for reaper, bidule with 4.5) the error will be solved.

I never reuse an old xtcproject after a new install, I rebuild it from scrash.

Too many to mention. XTC is a complete bugfest.

Clicking on the XTC box to bring up the DSP meter puts big back squares over the synth GUI's when the host is running. Trying to save presets crashes the host, Samplitude. I've yet to save a preset successfully. Solaris just comes up with a blank GUI. Various random crashes, something about boolean's expected, stack overflows. You name it. I haven't worked for five minutes without a crash that requires a Ctrl Alt Delete.

I'll use Standard Mode until SC fix things so it's even remotely usable.
