H all,
Hope you are having a peacefull Christmas break and that the red fella delivered!
Any of you using Scope XTC sucessfully within Reaper?
Some anoying bugs in Tracktion are causing me to consider other apps and whilst I like Reaper I seem to be having issues running XTC plugs - the display just grinds to a halt with heavy processor utilisation when XTC FX is instantiated (settles down after a bit) and I'm getting loads of glitches!
Solid as a rock in Tracktion however?
Regards,
Simon

Re: XTC & Reaper
works fine here!
you have to go to the settings menu and click some things... i think it says something with uad support. that will make your xtc plugins work without weird sounds..
but play around with your settings.
acutally, make sure that XTC mode works first! by using tracktor etc. in xtc mode. when it is working, start playing around with reaper.

Thanks - I'll hopefully get some more time tonight to have a further mess around.

Selecting the UAD-1 support seems to have resolved my issue.
Thanks for your post.

I really liked XTC with Tracktion 3. The GUI just seems to fit and workflow is excellent if you are composing.
With REAPER I prefere standard mode utilizing lots of ReaInserts. It's more a client-work recording/mixing program.
