I have had a good suprise yesterday:
After a discussion with voidar lately, I was building a device
for testing some idea in order to use vocodizer.
I did the rename tricks with prisma.dll in order for vocodizer to
be seen as a synth.
surprisingly, cubase didn't showed vocodizer as a synth, but as an Fx.
But more surprisingly the vocodizer Fx have the synth voice selector!
I tested it ... and it worked!
I don't understand exactly what happened but now vocodizer work in XTC!
From my previous experiments what changed:
- updated SFP to SFP 4.5
- Upgraded my PC to a core duo
- Installed the SDK.
everything else are the same (cubase SX 3 latest update).
So I hope it will be the same for you.
