DSP and audio

Post by pkole »

When you are in XTC mode in Nuendo e.g. and you use many scope effects without overloading the DSPs and with a lattency of 24ms does this affect the audio functionallity? I mean things like project crashing, pops, clicks etc

Any experiences?

Also if you use your CPU with native (VST) devices the scanning of the PCI interface needs to be balanced with the other cPU cycles and finally might lead to overload situations.

It is always a question of balance ;)
Just as i thought. Thanks man. I 'll try to keep the balance.
