Europa Shapeshifting Synthesizer

Post by dante »

This is pretty damn cool. Skip the bullshit and go to the 15 minute mark. Beyond sweeping between static waveform states, theres other modifiers - visual / mathematical - whateva - it's DSP magic - cant wait till later this month.

If ure into synthesis in any way - gotta check TF this out.

Essentially the old Waldorf Wave (or our own Quantum Wave) or the new Waldorf Quantum but with a modern optimized user interface to match the depth of the synth.

I don't like the style of the graphics, it looks toyish and mezzy to me, but it sure does have a lot of user friendly features!

I really hope that Scope 6 will allow for this type of user friendly and dynamic modern user interfaces.

I think Zebra's got this covered in a major way, but it's cool to have a more focused synth with similar capabilities. Zebra's powerful but a drag to create patches for because there's too much going on. Waveform wise I don't see how something like this couldn't be built in S|C platform, but maybe it's more of a UI controls issue.
