Affordable is a term I am unfamiliar with.
But quality is something I understand.
This is a 2.1 Sound system that used goes used for 600 just for the top cabinet if you can find one.
1,000 USD for both plus the stand.

The sound uses CPS Patents and can fill a 200 seat room with full range stereo + sub audio.
I'll be selling this for the Spacestation XL when it becomes available this summer.

For a fellow Z forumite, the whole system without stand for 575 + shipping.
July/August....

I'm very impressed with my Mackie Reach on top of a Behringer sub. Course I jumped on it with $200 cash back at checkout plus a $200 rebate from Mackie.

Okay, a bit more than I wanted to spend but will strongly consider the Mackie Reach.

Reach looks perfect.

Spacestation V3 is more suited for stereo Virtual instruments and hardware.
Not really for a PA.
I only use the sub because my bassist uses a Tube Based Ampeg SVT.
It's a really loud 70s rock tribute.

On my jazz gigs I leave the B1200D at home.

I tried the expensive Bose system and it lacks balls, and was mono so all of the great panning stuff sounded more like VCAs being modulated by an LFO, soft to loud instead of left to right.

Actually dNa FX Rack with transparent Pitch Shift.
It's so appropriate I don't need vibrato on CC#1 or Mod Wheel.
Mod Wheel cranks up the AUX where Pitch Shift gets placed.
I slam up a slider that controls rate.
Now it's a super modulation rather than the tired old Prince/OBX modulation wheel vibrato.

Dawman, did that fxrack with the amc update work for you....the one that morphed between the mod and chorus...with state manager

Cant try it out until May as I like leaving stuff alone thats making me money.
Ran out of time, so after these gigs I go back and set everything up.
Add/delete racks of hardware, prep for next gigs.

Ill let you know if I get time on days off to mess around again.

Cheers
