Re: Eventide Eclipse
Try ADAT B port instead of A in the xite? Or add wordclk connection?
Based on some other recent posts, I'd suggest trying these two.

Re: Eventide Eclipse
Yes you may need an external clock.
I sometimes use B ADAT port with Eclipse with no issues.

Re: Eventide Eclipse
yes the Mytec clock is good.
the cheap one is the ART. it also works well.

Re: Eventide Eclipse
yep.
i would choose the Mytec if the clock is super important in your work. a better clock will result in a SLIGHTLY better sounding finished product. most people won't be able to tell the difference. the ART is more than acceptable, though.
remember, clock cannot be connected in series.
also, you may need the file below to switch the XITE from wordclock master to workclock slave.

Re: Eventide Eclipse
sure.
termination is almost never an issue. all newer devices auto-terminate.

it's never been an issue here.
needing termination would be the oddball exception.

Rosendahl Nanoclocks...
Re: Eventide Eclipse
are you sure you have selected the proper input for clock?

Re: Eventide Eclipse
The A16 manual says z-link can't be used with wordclk. My own experience is z-link does fine without WC.
But, I haven't tried z-link operating the A16 and WC associated with adat devices.

Re: Eventide Eclipse
yeah, Z-Link DEFINITELY does NOT need WC. Z-Link is a VERY stable connection.
Re: Eventide Eclipse
maybe, but i've used an XITE as wordclock slave before...
Re: Eventide Eclipse
ok, more stupid questions....
did you make the file change with Scope closed and then reopen Scope?
did you rename the "slave" file to the same name as the original pep file?

Re: Eventide Eclipse
i don't think that's correct.
PulsarConfig_xite-slave.pep should be renamed PulsarConfig.pep and the original PulsarConfig.pep should be removed.

Re: Eventide Eclipse
i'd start over.
something may have been confused.
the instructions do say to rename the file and replace the old file, however. i can't help that a German wrote the readme...
others have definitely been able to make it work. would you like me to confirm that it's hopeless with Teamviewer? if so, PM me.
