Anyone get this yet?
I just snagged it and it comes with overnight delivery on a USB Stick and 1000 free Omnisphere 2 patches.

I have no idea about it, but I checked it out and it seems really promising, particularly coming from genius Eric Persin:

Wow.... go through the songs, amazing sounds there..., you're going to love it Jimmy, this is your world! :D

BTW: Everybody, every developer should learn about these demos, they are, probably, the best demos I have ever heard in any website ever. Why? Because they have real music and not just a few sounds, and they are magisterially played by many kind of musicians, even live! Great job in general! I’m sold!

To my ears, this is a “game changer”! Amazing, really great!!! It is the best I have heard in many ways. I don’t say what we already have is not good, but I have never heard such tremendous dynamic in a key virtual instrument, and I have to recognize, it is of my PERFECT taste, it is exactly the kind of sounds I like. It is a dream that has come true!

It's an amazing collection.
What really sets it apart is the upper ranges cut through left hand bass and chord voicings.
As if they were sidechained.
I try using a ducking Multiband modular patch on samples and it's pretty good.
Even made one on the TC Fireworx by placing an EQ pre Compressor and it works okay, but this needs to be done inside of the instrument.
Eric P. has always been a good performer so I bet he spent time on this till it worked.

I'll make a demo soon.

The acoustic Pianos are not my choice.
But the Rhodes is so realistic.

As long ss you dont buy this for the Pianos youll be happy.

haha, these are great demos. I don't know that it demonstrates the package to any special degree, but just nice music to listen to in general. The package sounds kind of unremarkable in the mix, in a good/natural way.

All I need is Una Corda. It fits my style perfectly. Sampled piano with a soul.

Then save your money.

The other vintage instruments and Hybrids are spectacular though.
What really sets this apart is how Omnisphere 2.1 incorporates this.

I can use Granular in real time using the various mallet instruments.
While playing digital e pianos or Rhodes for incredible results.
Also layer any presets in Omnisphere blending with an expression pedal.

Once I played the Pianos I realized why the demos were allegro pieces and not rubato.
The decay is just not realistic and too short.

But after 2 days I cant stop playing it.
If you have Omnispherevthis is a MUST....

In a perfect world, I would buy Omnisphere but I buy Komplete, can't afford both.

Also I have a complaint about Spectrasonics, in the original HOA samples, the ULA says you have to credit them in a very specific way on every recording in which you use their samples and the samples can't be used for any "immoral purposes." I called to ask what an immoral purpose is and the tech could not give me an answer but said if I'm not sure, I should run it by them first. Obviously this is utter bullshit. Some of the HOA samples are included in Omnispehere and I'm sure the ridiculous restrictions have now been lifted but I still feel like boycotting them until they change the ULA on the first CD set.

Probably meant if you used their samples during a Human fucking a Goat video they would demand satisfaction.

If the goat liked it it's not immoral.

But Eric P. is a man of faith.
Totally respect that but his definition is surely different.

I live in Omish and Mennonite farmland.
They live a selfless religious lifestyle that fascinates me.
Their farms are pro organic, refuse to sell to corporations or government.
Thier organic produce is the best I've ever seen.
Thier covered wagons reek from freshness.

I totally respect their dedication to thier faith and families.

But will stick to my method of transportation.

I don't respect faith because it's based on superstition, bigotry and misogyny AND it's anti-science AND they suck billions out of the economy by avoiding taxation.

How quickly people totally take a big-old turd dump on a perfectly good thread.

Omnisphere is amazing.
SO many ways to do sound design that the ULA doesn't matter.
They post that for their protection.
