Bidule and Scope XITE-1 w/ Satin 1.2

Post by dawman »

I love my MXR M 175, DEP-5 and PCM42 and MPX-1, but for the life of me
cannot get that old vintage Tape Flange sound.
Figured u-He has great sounding filters even if they are digital so gave
their Tap Deck plug in a try.
Incredibly realistic and total control over every possible parameter.

Was trying to get that double tracking vocal effect from Emerson lake and
Palmer, no sweat.
Then the vocal effect on Sky Pilot by Eric Burdon....easy money.
Then the ARP String Ensemble effect used on Come Sail Away by Styx.
On the money.

This is a great plug in and in the routing window you can see I send Solaris
into the ASIO Destination module >> Bidule.
Back out of the ASIO Source Module down into Peters' awesome AutoSwitch.

I simply reach over and push 1 button on the BCF 2000 controller, and
Solaris goes from string pad normal, to a thick suck ass sounding Tape Flange.

If anyone needs that thick old vintage tone, break down and get the Satin 1.2
from u-He.
You won't be disappointed.

Oh the Se-1X Analog Synth loves the auto switch from Peter too. I do regular bass
and lead stuff on it, and when I want an expression pedal wash-wah, again a single
button push on the BCF 2000...............Ankyu.
