I have tried to design a new pot. I got bored when positioning the lights. I stopped.
Phaser? Well, i have builded a custom one i should improve it a bit and upload. You can make a phaser, with a series of allpass filters.

Thanks. The problem with the internet is that you can't go to your friends home for a cigarette. You need airtickets for that.
How much time left until teleport invention?

I definately need a cigar  8) :) :D

There will be no teleport or interstellar travel. In fact if you are bored you could write a sci fi novel about how humanity saves itself when it's time for the sun to explode and there is only travel within our solar system.

Do you want to discuss the philosophical consequences of boredomness? Is it a question about the value of life? Or about god?

Should i delete "accidently" a driver and then try to make my system work right? Would i feel less boredom?

Study the mechanism of boredom. It's actually pretty fascinating if you think about it. What is the threshold of "non" boredom? Is boredom a bad thing? Is it rest? Or is it a chance for your mind to destroy itself? Can you be bored but productive?

PIck one living creature. Study it carefully, for as long as your are bored. An ant, dog, your dad. Why does it do what it does? What is it capable of doing? What problems is it bound by, and how does it go about solving them? What causes it pain? What causes it happiness?

my friend i have to admit that you are a genious. Very quick but polite you made a rough outline of all my inner mental world.
Truly i'm one more victim of my fathers treatment like an ant or a dog. Yes these nusty creatures (sorry dad, i love you) are capable of using any manner in order to break you mentaly and physically. Impressed!

You must have been a Freud reader... I adore Sigmund.

Actually, boredom can be a pretty bad problem. But since 20 - 30 years having music gear and computers and games and television, Ive never been really bored at all.

But my father in law who is 94 and cant walk coz of arthritis is bored and fed up with life and wanting to know (in private) why youthenasia is illegal. tears every time we visit him in aged care hostel and nothing to say to console.

So even though I cant really relate to the concept of boredom personally (other than say grocery shopping), I wouldnt take it too lightly when seen in some others - at least not when it becomes terminal to the point of depression.

So how bout making a list of the top ten most BORING things :

1) Grocery shopping
2) Feedback lessons
3) Standing in line
4) Meetings
5) No Scope 6 until 2016
6) Assembly code
7) Broken down car
8) Failing servers
9) No 64 bit AKAI.dll
10) Christmas TV

And fra, if you're into Douglas Adams have you ever listened to "The Guide To The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy". Better read it again, it may not be what you think on first read...

Hope the pil of Dion will be available at some point.
Euthanesia law in my country is quite good and is in parliament as well as within the population broadly supported, but the criterium of 'hopeless suffering' is under fire by orthodox-Christian parties at the moment.

Boring things?
waiting for a delayed train, or an empty words spitting politician.
if even internet is boring to me then I know I should get active :D

You could have night in Vegas with your friends and take rohypnol.

Speaking of which, I'm going to that Vegas movie tonight, about the older guys.

That could be even more entertaining than the young dudes
