dude, all it takes is drizzling paint in a way that you like.
believe me, it's not hard to make something that people like.

the best thing about Pollack's drizzle work is he did it first(sort of).

good way to make a living...good gig if you can get it....

'Believe me'...
Why would I believe you? you even don't like abstract art, you talk patronising
about electronic music (which is also abstract art)...
Why would I value your opinion?
You're a gear seller.
And probably a nice studio engineer.
Stick to it :-)

Magazine Life called him in 1949 'the biggest living painter in the world'.
Who are you, dude?

yes, i am dumbo.
i think for myself.

i don't hate electronic music, either.

you have no idea about what i have done or been involved in as an artist. my father was a quite talented modern artist himself. he has had works in public galleries. his best friend and partner is a somewhat famous artist in the Pacific Northwest today. they started one of the bigger art collectives in the Los Angeles area in the mid and late 60s. i'm not theoretical about these things. i don't care about what the powers that be wish to promote. i have spent my life living and breathing arts and sciences. i don't need you or anyone else to explain the importance of "art". thank you very much. do you have even one original thought?

no, i'm nowhere near the draftsman or the artist that Pollack was, i can't even put myself into the same conversation, except to point out the absurdity of the techno-babble about his splatter paintings, even though so many of them looked cool. many, many people have done them since, just as well. there isn't really anything much to them, except what exists in your own brain. one of the artists i mentioned above made one 12 feet wide by 20 feet tall. it's very, very easy. anyone trying to make a living doing them after Pollack and his ilk is not likely to be taken seriously, if that's all that they produce.

actually, that type of painting was already a joke in the 50s. so many comedies made about fake artists who splatter paint....

ah, now I see where you got your original ideas from...

Sorry to start this, but it's you who often refers to your father.
I'd say stop talking about your father.
He obviously loved science and art, you don't really do so much.

You have a problematic relationship with science (poisoned by conspiracy shit) and obviously to modern art (as not realistic or not enough 'hand-crafted').
That's your good right, but I don't see why I should value your opinions about both parts of life :)

my father was not a scientist.

your profiles are not accurate.

your assessments of my sensibilities and views are also inaccurate.

no, really i don't have a credibility problem.

it doesn't matter that much what anyone in this corner of the internet thinks, and that includes me.

unless you are sending the storm troopers here because you don't like me, i really don't care that much what you think of me, beyond basic respect due a stranger.

go to bed. don't post while drinking alcohol. these aren't rules, just suggestions.

He can't count to ten, but:
"Derek Paravicini is autistic, blind, retarded, and yet, is a genius at the piano. He can play anything he hears just once. This reports follows him to a major concert where he teams up with another genius pianist...with the same handicap"

not only about the 'trick' of his brain but also if emotian qualifications are understood :)
