Modulable modular module (i love english, sorry) eq wish.

More we have free devices (thanks to Peter, Fra, Roy and all the other for those new free devices), more we imagine and wish new ones...

Scope Modular has some eq fx modules. Almost all of them miss something : some modulation input. I'd like to modulate frequency, Q and gain with some lfo, keyfollow, step sequencer, temperature of the kitchen, speed of my Dacia car (for making chill out music), etc ...

So, thanks to modify all the eq modules to make them modulable modular modules (yes, I placed it agin). I'm waiting.

You can mix your sound with a bp filtered version of it. It's the same stuff.

resonant band pass filters in parallel with fixed frequency range and there own vca and control

http://yusynth.net/Modular/index_en.html here is one im working on with vc control

i did a polymoog version that sharc created as a bcmodular device

Yes, check out Sharc's BCModular modules. He has taken many modules, and added modulation inputs for each control (or open each modules' panel to edit knobs/sliders)...there are over one hundred modules in that package!!

I also know there are 6 EQ modules coming in the new version of BC Modular. If you ask sharc nicely, I'm sure he'll send you the set.

jopo,
my thoughts and wishes out loud, i'm glad
more plug sockets for more modular-feeling ...and SDK is the soldering iron, he should be always hot :D

Wow ! Is it your firsts hardware modular module ? Nice !
Where did you find it ?

Maybe after some times, you'll invent new ones...

Give us a sound example when it's working !

I didn't imagine there is so much manufacturer ! I think more than 150 !

many manufacturer, many ideas, and "alles schön bunt hier" + "bling bling"
that´s fantastic modular :D

you can build most of them modules with modules from the scope and bcmodular

the sar filter would be an easy one to do with 2 2pole svf filters and a couple of switches you can achieve the same thing

the sem filter is a 2pole low and highpass filter with a mixer that mixes the 2 together to get a lowpass -bandpass-notch-hipass curve by using the variable knob

there are blocks for creating your own filters just wire them up you can add clippers into the feedback path to add grit or add a tube or sat after the output or waveshapers to tailer the sound

all with real time control

same for fx i built my phasers the same way using smaller circuit blocks then adding the same blocks to make stages

good thing is its easy to mess around aas it cost nothing but time

but hard where you have to prototype and things might not work as expected

i find with the scope modular and the sdk you can get some great results

just picture the module then build if you look at those hardware modules they are made up of mixers for inputs for both level and modulation then they have filter cores you just do the same
