how about a device whereby you can sum multiple stereo or mono signals together and vary their amplitude and panning? i think it might be handy.

actually if apple word it like that it will probably get by the idiots in the patent office.

Uh, don't talk to me about the patent office.... I'm still waiting to hear back from them about my application to patent 'the synthesizer' after a WHOLE YEAR. They haven't gotten back to me about my revolutionary round wheel design either..
