Tape echo!

A tape echo device!! with variable speed and feedback *WITHOUT* zipping!
It must be possible!
( there are fine tape echo simulations, but not with variable speed without zipping..)

This is probably problem with scope, but not problem with other hardware. My Yamaha A4000 sampler use 5s CtrlDelay and StereoCtrldelay with smooth modulation time/tempo and feedback modulation, this fx is totaly great.

There was supposedly at some point a smooth modulateable delay from one of the early DP devs, i cant remember who, maybe it was orbitone.

I've asked for this some time ago with the same answer: some atoms, needed to build such a device, are missing in the SDK.
If my memory doesn't fail, a developer (I didn't remember who ATM) tells about a device he was working on, that workarounds the issue, but consuming HUGE amount of DSP (someting like a whole scope pro) ... :-(
