NuWaveOsc

Post by astroman »

simple thing - a Wavetable Oscillator à la Waldorf, but with a loadable table based on 16/24/32 bit samples
not that I need it, but if Scope4Live keeps nagging about the quality of Vectron & Co I'm afraid they might sack the oldie one day...

cheers, Tom

I'll provide the 24bit Kyma creations.

That's a really good idea. I could use it in all of JB's stuff. Imagine QWave with one of these as an RDII insert. :o

With your help this might happen.

Looks like it's gonna happen in hardware Solaris.

I am hoping to drop in on J. Bowen in Anaheim next month.

not really simple.

ask soniccore,
I want it too. :)

as I said in another thread, I wish Soniccore does release some new sound generator modules(oscillators) and filter modules for sdk and modular....

would be awesome... :)

A wavetable module that can load wave files and run through different wavefiles via modulation(like waldorf does it) for sure would be a very great tool.
The waldorf Wavetable osc is great but has a certain "hard" sound and cannot load individual wave stuff.

also I miss the sync feature on the wavetable and wav oscillators....

:D
you have a similar scenario like in michael manns "Heat" in mind?

That would for sure allow me to afford a Solaris. :)

Remember the part in Heat when Al Pacino was interrogating the dude from Vegas that was banging Val Kilmer's old lady ( Ashley Judd....serious ball smoker )?

Any way Pacino says how well do you know so and so...and the guy says Who....Who......Then Pacino goes,...what, are you a fuckin' Owl...who....who.

Great flick 4 sure.

And what about little Natalie Portman?? Dayamn.

All my buddies say Jim,..she could be your daughter,...you're a pervert.

Oh course my reply to them is.....If the grass is growing,.you gotta work the field.
