Automate Sampled Instrument Dynamics

Post by dawman »

So many Orchestral instruments sound great until you start to try and play them like real instruments.

I am experimenting with Modular using automated EGs, Filters and Chorus/Vibrato.

Aftertouch on chorus/vib.
Expression for attack plus VCA Levelling, velocity on decay/sustain/release.

Hollywood Strings lives and breathes thanks to Scope...

Playing some vst's via modular envelope is full very large possibilities ! I like to increase a rhodes tremolo depth on each note, for example, with a long attak eg... Or wah-wah depth, or eq gain modulated by midi note pitch...

Scope is irreplaceable !
