Stereo Width Supremacy

Post by dawman »

After 6 years of using Scope you'd think I'd have found the perfect everything.
I now have found the tool for when I use my new Barbettas with.
I run it after the STM and pre Analog Destination.
I can actually adjust the width % according to the speaker placement, and it is a beautiful tool.
I am now going to add a Modular LFO2MIDI Patch and modulate the % from 12 o'clock to full on 400% and see how it sounds.
I just love this device, and oif it adds motion to the stage monitors it will be another Scope one of a kind....

Thanks Dirk and Eric form DAS.

I love conversations with myself, in public people hand me money as they think Im mentally disabled.
But at any rate the post above is incomplete.
Now I have a Modular Patch controlling the width % using an LFO to MIDI CC Conversion patch made by at0m.
I go from 100% to 400% with a slow rate Sine Wave, and is heavenly live using Cabinets about 15 feet apart.
I made a recording just for a taste, but I can assure you it's nothing like the real deal when in between 2 x powered midfield monitors.

Permanent fixture now for live work.
Incredible Plug In. I have had this for a year and never used it.
Read the manual and now I have a living breathing Mastering plug in
that really makes a live rig sound signature.
By using Bass Shift and Presence, it exposes freqs when Stereo Width is
automated with the Modular LFO2MIDI patch. There's nothing else like this.
What a Pendajo am I to let this sit idle for so long..

Thanks
FWIW it's a little noisy as I used 2 x beat to shit SM57s from the last century, and my Cabinets are a little hissy when I use the BX, but the spacing between the cabinets, while not being a doppler, remind me of the first time I sat down on a Hammond woith the 147s....
