Vectron Wave Creation w/ Solaris

Post by dawman »

Here's todays' experiment. I have been making my own Joystick Patches in Modular, but Vectron seems so well suited for this, plus I can create my own waveforms and store them.
Vectron is always active and shares a preset for every preset change I make on Solaris. Some are blank, then the others are active and can be blended with an expression pedal.
Pretty Sweet sounds are coming from this Duet..
Aftertouch, Expression and Joystick are more than enough controllers.

Give me a few hours.
I didn't think I would like the layering of such a fine synth, but Vectron seems built for this.
Now I can concentrate on using a MIDI Switch and build a Modular patch for Joystick, but only use 4 x Sample Oscillators.
Thankfully the classes from Assaf were very, very useful. Also glad I still have 1,000's of EMU/Roland samples in wav. format from Translator Pro.

It's 2 x Waldorf Oscillators from Solaris. Then Tuned Noise from Vectron as the Joystick travels x-y axis, then the remaining 2 x Oscillators from Solaris with the ModWHeel set at max/min.

Still kind of getting use to this, but the sound is pretty awesome, especially if you avoid sounds Solaris can already create.
Threse 2 are partners now.

V complex - some nice interweaving textures there.
