You Send It File Sharing

Post by dawman »

Due to my email limitations on sending / recieving large files I went and got this freebie that sends 100MB's fast and for free.

Since I had no time to wait for a DVD to be sent I bought their 2GB file sharing dealy for 9.99 USD.

Works great and is fast as greased lightning.

Just recieved a giant 1.6GB Library which I will edit and shrink to practical sizes and performances.

But anyone can get the 100MB free app., which works well also.

Have A Nice Scope Day. :)

Sendspace is nice too, and can send several files up to 300 mb each at once :)
By paying a ridiculous fee, you can get 10 (or more) GB of bandwidth and the files stay there until the bandwidth is over (can be renewed).

This works nice too, you can upload files and leave them there indefinately, send anybody the link at anytime to download them, free storage (max 100mb per file though)

I'm checking into Pando.
The old Streamload/Mediamax/Linkup folks went bellyup.

I must agree w/ Brotha' Man Stardust,

I bought their 2GB service which is fine, but had to call them to quit sending me spam from the free 100MB service I signed up for at first.

How did you know they would spam me?

It's no biggie, as a simple phone call or threatening email works fine. But I was reffered here from a well known Giga buddy.............Guess he has a great spam filter or something. :-?

I don't think Mediafire allows for hotlink sharing of files (or embedding).
I need a service that allows hotlinking as well as security - and I'm willing to pay a little for it.

I'm not sure Pando allows this either.

Are there any services that allow large file uploads (say, 2Gig), as well as hotlinking?

I am not sure what hot linking is but I recieved a 1.68GB sample library from a guy who was travelling and wasn't able to access the server. So when I found out it was a notebook I was a little surprised at it's speed.

Would hot linking have tied him into whatever server we were seeking?

correct.
So now I'm looking into Humeyo, but so far the links only work to take you to the site.
I think it's this way mostly because it's free.
