Hi, when i first started using my sts5000 I could set the note for the sample by typing B1, C1, C2 etc etc.
Now it wont let me, I have to do 60,61,62...

How to I change it back? Im not sure If I changed some setting to make this happen.

thnx

Hmm, that is weird-- when I first starting using the STS4K, I think I remember using C3, etc as well. Now I do all my assignments by activating "MIDI to Span" and playing the notes... it seems more "direct" to me for some reason. Deactivate Midi to Span when you are done. Tell me what you think of that method if you decide to try it instead.

Ah I see how that works, yeah might be quite useful for setting the spans.

But it doesnt solve the problem of setting the note values for the individual samples in the "key" column, I still have to enter numbers. If I try to enter C1, C2 etc it doesnt allow me.
To be or not to be. What was the question?
