sts 5000 newbie question

sts 5000 newbie question

hi im pretty new to the sampler and theres something i ve been trying but cant figure out. a lot of sample banks i load have different samples that spread acroos the keyboard, not like when u load a bank and its the same sample but i n diferent pitches. so how do i tak e a single sample and from that spread it across the keyboard in different pitches? thanks

On the 5000 - KeyGroups > Options> Zones, then set Key Track to "Track" rather than "Constant".

That is, if you have one sample in a program selected.

A pre-made bank is usually set up for a specific thing - try making your own from scratch - the manual shows how - and load just one wav.
