Slicing and Chopping Loops individually

is it possible with our controversial samplers or do I have to use a sound editor e.g Wavelab 5 , would you share the experience, prompt replies are more than welcomed,

I would say it may be possible, but other programs can do it waaaaay better. I've never tried it, but I could imagine.
