STS WONT LOAD AKAI CDS

ITRY TO LOAD AKAI CDS ON MY STS 5OOO AND IT ONLY
LOADS AREADY PROGRAM BEATS 120 ???

iinsalled still wont load akai progs wont create

new progs and wont load samples again please wice version of aspi adaptec and were on my comuter do i install 8)

1. Your sts-sampler will only load .p-programs, never .s-samples. These .s-samples you can see in the key group list. Check your filter settings in your scope filebrowser. If you want to see your .s-files, "all files" must be activated (green).
2. For win98, aspi version 4.71 is the right. Simply follow the instructions you get if you download the bundle. For winxp I don't know what to do, because I had never this problem on xp. Maybe that AndreD, which was the builder of my DAW, already installed the right drivers - maybe winxp contains all necessary files - don't know.

btw, I had to install ASPI also with WIN XP..... otherwise it did not work.

Maybe I've never tried to feed my "new" DAW with AKAI CDs cos all my AKAI samples were already on a HD and I had only to copy them to the right place. 8)

Yes, if you copy your samples to HD, you'll have pretty much faster access to your sounds.
