i have realized that the sts samplers are pretty powerfull, but i am not experienced with them and it is impossible to load any sound in them except the creamware sampls. .p etc....
how can i use audio sounds wav or whatever?
what kind of sample library is recommended?

Hello

You can't load .wav samples directly into STS, but you need to create an empty program first. Then you can load samples into the program (just drag and drop them).
It's simple once you know the procedure.

Arcadios, you can load p-files (Akai), sf2-files (Soundfont - you have to readjust them) or sts-files. If you want to play your wav-files, you have to create a new sts-file. I made tons of sts-files with the good samples from the german KEYBOARDS mag.

to be honest i haven't managed to load wav files.
can you be a little more helpfull, step by step?

step 1, create a new program

step 2 open the keygroups panel

step 3 drag a sample into the keygroup panel

step 4 do the settings (assigning the right root key, keyrange, individual out...)
