i'm looking for a freeware sts sampler...
Can anyone give me an advise?

Downloading STS5000 from the CW site is free. If you are good at writing programms, you could program yourself a CWE* and when you've done that, you might be able to generate the serial number of the STS.

No sorry dude just kidding, get yourself a harware sampler, I got my STS5000 with the 50% discount for upgrading to SFP4. I haven't used it and see it as wasting money.

I got me an Emu E6400Ultra and couldn't be happier.

buy my Kurzweil K2500 rack-sampler, including Teac MO drive and Akai cdrom reading Yamaha D2 drive, plus a Lacy SCSI cdrom drive (4*) for € 1100,- :smile:
