How is it possible to get choked sounds? I resort to using two drum kits on different midi channels at the moment; one kit has a plyphony of one so I can choke hihats, the other has whatever polyphony I need.

Thanks

I don't have sts running infront of me right now, so I'm speaking from memory. There's a parameter called "mute channel" or something. If you set 2 keys to the same mute channel, then one will choke the other out. There are 256 mute channels you can use. See if that figures it out.

Thanks, I'll have a look. I just had a quick look in the sts3000 pdf but could not see it. I'll read it more thoroughly now.
