Is there an easy way?
or the only way is to open the giga file in Giga studio, export all of the samples as individual files, and build your STS manually from scratch?

Or is there anything out there that will assist in opening a Giga file, and exporting as an sts ???

I own it, it's great, fast reliable...

But beware, large gig files (500mb >) will have lotsa trouble loading in STS, which doesn't do disk streaming....

I wonder if it leaves the velocity switching intact. Doesn't the gigastudio have more levels? Is there a noticible difference in fidelity?

Well, depends on the program. Obviously, if to program have more than 4 velocity per keygroups, this could modify the program, it will create one keygroup for each velocity
