i 'm using cubase and the vst performance is about 50-60%... (when processing a lot of samples)
Does it shorten my processor/motherboard life? (asus cusl2-peIII 866)

hey fra77x, don't worry. I think you've got your board+proc for letting it rock and not to let it sleep. If you have a broken component somewhere it'll crash with 5 or 50%. Your mobo+P III should go well at least for the next 5 years with 9 and/or 90 %. So please look only that load does not reach 101%, because then you'll have this nasty crackling and programs hang flat on the screen unable to move.
Happy pulsaring

Hello fra77x a have just a question to you.
How many reverbs of the cubase reverb32 can you run on your asus tusl with p3 866mhz until the cubase processor meter range is full.
I want to know it, because I want change my configuration and it shouldn´t be slower after the change.
Thanks
Stefan
