If they come out w/PCI boxes with the USB2 spec, would that not be an excellent combo for use with a laptop? Assuming that magma or someone makes them(!), the bandwidth is definitely there, not sure about latencies and computer priority/stability though . . .
I can see it now: The "'Big Blue' Daddy DAW" at the studio serves as the docking bay for the "Portable Pulsar PC" with the simple transfer of a USB cable from a laptop to my home PC.
or is that just dreaming?
