hey, i am wondering where the difference is with the home vs professional cards. is it only on the cables or is the i/o plate different?

(difference between balanced and unbalanced i gues)

Scope Home was the 3dsp card, the same as a Luna2 or Electra or Powersampler card.
the Scope Professional card was 14 or 15 dsps. it's the same as a Power Pulsar or second generation Scope SP card.

the Scope Professional had either balanced or unbalanced i/o.

according to the keyfiles my 14/15 dsp card is v5, is there any way to update it to v5.1?

it may be a v5.1 keyfile already. open it in wordpad and see if there is a v5.1 entry.

otherwise, you should purchase v7.

nope to bad, its a v5. But i found out it has the 6 softtube dsp plugs in the keyfile. i had no idea. so thats good news.
It also seems i only have keyfiles for 3 cards instead of my 5 cards. only need ne keyfiles if i sell them right)
i was wondering if there are different version of the big 14/15 dsp cards. they to have differences in latency like the pulsar 1 and 2?
it says on the white label on the card: scope sn lxh2m060w; scope srb; creamware pd: 14.06.02.
And printed on the card its says: cwdt germany 2000 revision 1.3

there are first gen 15dsp cards, that is not one of them.

yes, the optional plugins stay with the card and will work in v7, unless you lose the keyfile. always keep backups somewhere other than the audio PC.
