Cloning hard drive for Backup

Post by Music Manic »

Hi guys,

Which software is the best and easiest to backup my O/S drive? I have it the way I want it now and would like to back it up so it's ready if things go wrong. This will help if I get crashes or something becomes corrupt.

One touch would without too many complicated setups would be great.

Thanks

I use Macrium reflect free edition, it's perfect.

You can increment folders and files in the last version.
You can boot with a boot-cd and install your backup easily with a nice gui.

I will take a look too. I used Acronis for a number of years. It worked perfectly and was easy to use. The last version though they had implemented an annoying "reminder" pop up notification on my desktop when the next version was available. There was no way to disable it. Googled the problem and a lot of people were complaining about it. Acronis didn't seem to want to respond to this matter on their own user forum. That intrusive type of marketing was a total turn off. I uninstalled the program and figured I'd find another option eventually.
