Software IO - DirectSound Source, but it is just a wrapper, the driver will exist in DX program, but sound will go into the wav driver, so to make dx work, youneed dx + wav driver...

i didn't think there's a Dx driver for win2k, just load the Wav device instead.

I think direct x 8 is making a mess....
iam going to use directx buster clear the 8 and install 6.1

Yeah yeah, dx work in XP and W2K, but not like in 98...

About dx8, you need at least dx8a, if you have XP, it's already fully configured, in W2K, i don't remember.

In Win2k, it's auto installed, Dx. There's an uninstaller somewhere, I have Dx6.1 still on my disk :wink:
