all chipsets with pci or pci-x card work with scope.
for pci you just need a legacy pci engine in the motherboard.
like intel b75 b77 and many others..

I have a friend in the Cologne area running a computer shop and being specialized on audio machines, supporting pro studios, audio and video.
Is not far away from Siegburg though ...

He knows what SCOPE cards are and understands well, not only the latest/greatest is best for music production.
So, his basement is also full of old computer components in working condition, just only to be able to do a good service for those using old(er) systems and so on.
Even I´m more than 500km away from his location, I´m using his services sometimes and talk to him as well.

Last week we talked about the old Creamware cards and the newer XITE because I ordered a ATX case and Win 7 Pro.

He also recommends Intel B75 and B77 chipsets for the newer mobos and PCI DSP cards running realtime "gear".

Stay away from Z170.
I just spent too much money on a super fast DAW that doesn't recognize ASIO Hosts.
Tried Reaper, Bidule and Cantabile.

Windows 10 and Z170 is not ready for prime time.

But until then I can download my favorite naked women and alter their body parts at incredible speed and bandwidth.
FastLan from ASRock combined with IDM does seem to download my favorite midget porn faster too.

Not good for ASIO Hosting but @ 4.6GHz and dual Intel 750 400GB NVMe drives is killer for internet stuff.

Doesn't midget porn have smaller files, anyway?
