AMD Athlon Pentium Coppermine

Post by dawman »

Great read.
Explains how the little people were protected from evil capitalists.
And why AMD Zen might be a way to seek revenge.
An example of how honest competition makes us winners.

Because I love built in GPUs that have allowed me to migrate from 4U builds to 1U designs, I always admired the AMD GPU design even though I use the smallest 256MB setting so RAM is reserved for samples, etc.

My last build uses Iris Pro 6200. The GPU that finally smoked the AMD GPU.
I suppose this is why market share manipulations are going to change.
Let the battle begin.

I used to have Athlon XP back in the day. Those were decent. Of course, no on chip GPU.

But you know that AMD bought ATI right? ATI was not far from here, about 30 minutes drive...
