Anyone had their mitts on one of these units?
I'm gearing up to take xite and laptop for a show in Darwin in a few months, and this looks like the controller I'll go with.
9 sliders for drawbars is a solid feature, pads, transport & motorised fader are cool too.
I'm looking at housing laptop, Xite-1 and my trusty blue Cre@mware A16 in a 2U SKB Studio Flyer
Nektar P6
Re: Nektar P6
I have the panorama p6
i like it very much,
i'm not a keyboardist/pianist but i like the action. the keys seems not "plastic".
i compared it to the akai mpk 61 and it was similar.
there are lots of controllers, well made, you can edit them as you like
i never used the pad. i don't have a great feeling with it
only drawback for me is that it does not "talk" with sonar, so i cannot get all the nice integration features. and in this way the motor-fader does not work.
but if you have the supported sequencer it should work like charm

Hey Bosone - i'm with you as a Sonar user - maybe they'll get around to that. I bought the P6, and I like the feel of this controller a lot. Brings Scope alive, the faders are good, buttons are led backlit when toggled, transport to DAW all cool in midi-out mode - very tweakable parameters for everything and a nicely weighted keyboard. Feels solid.
